NWAESC(2095)--Arkansas's New Assessment System: Cambium

This session will center around Arkansas's new assessment system. Attendees will learn about Arkansas' Assessment Theory of Action, test design and blueprint, and types of assessment and use of data. Cambium, the new state test vendor, will also present about the portal. The new system will have summative test, optional interim tests, and optional classroom assessment building capabilities. This training is optimal for a district team (up to three people) that can come and learn about the system and make a plan to take it back to the district to share, somewhat of a TOT model. Ideally this team would consist of C&I Director, building curriculum leaders, district/building testing coordinators, and/or lead teachers. Districts should decide on their team and register individually.

Important Session Information:

LUNCH PROVIDED

This training is meant to serve as a TOT of sorts for the new assessment system.  We would ask that districts attend in teams of no more than 5 people.  The participants will be asked to take the information back to their district and providing PD locally for all teachers in grades 3-10.
