AFESC-READ, CODE, CREATE

The READ: CODE: CREATE program announced during CS ED Week includes training that will focus on incorporating the book My Life As A Coder. This program was developed collaboratively with CSforAR, R.I.S.E. Arkansas, AR STEM, and G.U.I.D.E for Life. Designed for middle school students and teachers across the state, the training focuses on incorporating computer science, literacy, and STEM education into engaging activities.

Every school that has a 6th grade will receive one class set of 25 books as a part of this professional development.  Each of these schools will need to send at least one sixth-grade representative to the training in order to receive that school's class set of books.

Every 6th, 7th or 8th grade teacher who attends this professional development will receive a copy of the book and every cooperative will receive a classroom set of circuit playground coding tools for loan to local schools.  Please see the following for more detailed information: https://csforar.info/RCCDetails
