Sol-fa, Solfege and Curwen Hand Signs are not just for the secondary school choir. How to incorporate tonal syllables into the average elementary classroom to increase your students’ ability to sing in tune and understand tonal relationships. Some time will be devoted to acculturation and exploration in tonalities outside of traditional Major and Harmonic Minor.
