SCSC-Teaching the Gifted in the Secondary Content Classroom - All Subjects



Participants will be instructed on how to create differentiated lesson plans in the regular classroom to engage, challenge, and motivate students, especially identified gifted populations. Special attention will be devoted to involving student choice in the differentiation of content, process, and product in a fun and easy way. This training is recommended for Teachers that are teaching Honors and Advanced courses.

TESS components addressed include: 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
