SWAEC- (Zoom) Middle School Intro To Coding: Learn To Text-based Code

Do you need to learn the concepts behind the coding block and explore a professional, beginner-friendly, text-based programming language that can be used in the coding block? This training puts you on the path to better understanding the programming coding block standards and becoming more proficient in a text-based programming language. Content and activities are geared towards increasing your knowledge of programming to aid in teaching the coding block.

Target Audience: Any 5th to 8th-grade educator interested in improving their knowledge of programming

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.
