SWAEC- Small Group for Reading in Grades 3-6
This session is designed for 3-6 RISE participants that have completed Days 1-6. We will look at the purpose of small group instruction in grades 3-6, analyze assessment data to group students, and practice planning to remediate foundational skills and elaborate on reading comprehension skills. We will also be discussing what is essential in small group instruction and identify why text is so important in small group instruction. TESS: 1A, 3B, 3C
