NWAESC(2095)-Engaging Students in Science Investigations in Grades 6-8
This workshop will engage 6th - 8th grade science teachers in phenomena driven science investigations, a storyline learning model, and assessment task development and adaptation. The professional learning will focus on the teaching and learning of the AR K-12 Science Standards for grades 6-8, using Open SciEd as a model for curriculum and instructional strategies. This is an introductory session that provides an opportunity for participation in grade-level unit development teams during the 2023-2024 school year.
