DSC Physical Science & Chemistry: Developing the FUNdamentals of Understanding
What does it mean for physical science and chemistry in Arkansas to be “integrated”? Why are some of the same standards addressed in both courses? What does it mean in the standards when we read the phrase “partially addressed”? Come experience a Physical Science/Chemistry investigation that supports Arkansas science standards that incorporates relevant, engaging, student-focused learning. Teachers will reflect on how to apply instruction within their course and explore possible pacing guides for Chemistry and Physical Science that may be adapted for their students.
