GFESC Critical Reading Day 3: Vocabulary and Word Study ** VIRTUAL**



Day 3 of Critical Reading, Vocabulary and Word Study, focuses on Critical Reading I standards and evidenced-based best practices in adolescent vocabulary and word study. Participants will learn practical, time-saving practices for direct vocabulary instruction in Greek and Latin roots. Word study will be addressed through small group intervention lessons.  You will walk away from this workshop with a solid plan for how to improve vocabulary and spelling for all your students.  This training aligns with Option 3 of the Prescribed Pathways for Awareness (http://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/).

This course opens on June 1, 2023 and closes on June 30, 2023.  During this time, participants will work independently through the course using the online Canvas LMS.  Additional information and instructions will be emailed to enrolled participants prior to the June 1st start date.
