ARESC-3D Art for the k-12 Classroom
In 3D Art for the k-12 Classroom, teaching artist Elly Bates, will lead a class on three-dimensional art. Teachers will leave with an arsenal of artists to reference, materials that work well for classroom use, and some fun projects to lead with their students. Teachers will explore scale, form, shape, and space and will practice problem solving and engineering. These are fun, hands-on projects that challenge teachers and students to think in new ways. The environment of this workshop is one in which teachers build each other up; share collective knowledge; and encourage each other while having fun making and learning about 3D art! Perfect for art instructors of all ages, gifted teachers, teachers interested in STEAM, and any other teacher who wants to spend the day creating.
