ARESC-TransfrVR Headset Training for Arkansas River ESC Career Development Instructors
Virtual Reality incorporation into the classroom can add exciting hands-on activities for students. ADE:DCTE has provided TransfrVR (Virtual Reality) Headsets for Career Development instructors through ESSER grant funding. This session will provide initial set-up instructions for ARESC Career Development classrooms, practice time for participants to experience the CTE-oriented vocations provided within the VR software, and collaboration with other Arkansas River ESC Career Development instructors about implementation techniques in the classroom. Participants will explore data sets provided by TransfrVR; disaggregation by cooperative and district level will include student-submitted reflections based on surveys during the 2022-2023 school year. This session is exclusively offered to ARESC Career Development instructors.
