GREC-Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Oral Language in the 7-12 Classroom

In this session, participants will explore word level reading development and it's importance for proficient reading, discuss ways to support vocabulary development through oral language, and learn best practices for teaching vocabulary. We will also discuss various reasons why students struggle with comprehension and examine steps that can be taken to address and correct problems.

Participant parking, unless handicapped, is in the large lot at the bottom of the stairs. Please be sure to park in the participant parking lot, not the small employee lot located in the middle of the Cooperative buildings.
