WDMESC: Teaching Fractions for Understanding, Engagement, and Fluency
Come participate in learning activities that progress through fractions (including decimal fractions, percent fractions, and some negative fractions). The activities will focus on both understanding and fluency with fraction concepts. Knowledge of fractions used at each grade level and how they build will be useful for teachers to make connections to upcoming concepts. build new concepts from previous understandings, teach for deeper understanding and fluency, and have ideas that can be used in RTI.
