SCSC-Antecedent and Targeted Behavior Strategies
This training will cover Antecedent and Targeted Behavior Interventions. Seven different antecedent interventions that increase the likelihood of appropriate behaviors and/or decrease the likelihood of problem behaviors by changing events that occur before a behavior will be discussed. The Student Intervention Matching (SIM) Form, a tool that is used for students identified as "at risk" and helps match the behaviors exhibited by the student to possible Tier II interventions, will also be covered. In order for the training to be held, there must be at least ten (10) participants registered. TESS: 2C,2D,3A,3C,4C
Important Session Information:
For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
