Whether you teach a Critical Reading course or not, this session will help you understand how to meet the needs of your struggling readers. This refresher course covers all four standards: engaging the reader strategies, comprehension strategies, response to text strategies, and developing vocabulary strategies. Additionally, you’ll have access to close reading templates, vocabulary templates, ready-made high impact curriculum that models high impact practices, and strategies for each of the four standards.
