DSC How can we leverage the intrinsic curiosity students have about themselves and the living world around them? Ignite student interest in Biology!
Designed specifically for Biology teachers, this workshop will immerse participants in engaging, student centered instruction that aligns with the three dimensional performance expectations of the Arkansas standards for the Biology Integrated course. Teachers will gain an understanding of how phenomena are leveraged at the beginning of a Biology storyline to spark student interest, engage students in a coherent sequence of sensemaking, and provide equitable access to learning experiences for all students.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants should bring an electronic device. Lunch is on your own.
