WDMESC: Trauma Sensitive Environments in Your School
Trauma-Sensitive environments create safe havens for students and safe working environments for educators. Research shows, almost all educators encounter trauma-affected students, whether they know it or not. This session focuses on student emotions, safety & security and adverse childhood experiences, along with strategies to help students de-escalate and regulate emotions and behavior.
