NWAESC(2095)-Reading Assessments: Screeners, Diagnostics, and Progress Monitoring
In this session, participants will delve into the different types of reading assessments and the data each assessment gives us. Participants will dig into how to correctly progress monitor with screening assessments and how to change instruction based on that data. Acadience and DIBELS 8 will be the focus when discussing universal screeners. Various diagnostic assessments will also be reviewed. Participants will leave with an understanding of the various purposes of assessments and how each assessment relates to the updated Arkansas ELA standards. This K-6 session would be beneficial for literacy teachers, teachers of SPED, interventionists, instructional facilitators, and administrators.
