AFESC-TRIS: Trauma Informed Care
This training describes childhood trauma and how impacts children’s’ development and behavior. Participants will learn key strategies for supporting children exposed to traumatic events and will learn to identify and help students in need of more services or resources. *3-Hour version includes a deeper exploration of trauma types, its impact on brain development, maintaining emotional safety during a crisis, and how to apply key concepts to real-life scenarios. Level 1 Training for All School Personnel
