AFESC-Podcasting for the k-12 Classroom
Podcasting is taking over one ear at a time! In this workshop led by teachers Emily Dana and Alex Baldwin, teachers will learn how to take full advantage of the podcasting craze to increase literacy skills, student engagement, and retention of content. Teachers will leave understanding the benefits of audio-based learning, resources to create their own podcast, and activities to lead their students in engaging with this exciting new medium where education and entertainment meet.
