DSC HHMI BioInteractive (Cancelled)
This workshop will focus on the science practice of Developing and Using Models to enhance student understanding of molecular processes. Participants will investigate free, classroom-ready BioInteractive resources and explore how to integrate three-dimensional teaching — the content, science practices, and crosscutting concepts presented in the Arkansas Science Standards — to enhance student understanding of fundamental molecular concepts.
Throughout the workshop, teachers will have time to engage with BioInteractive resources such as videos, images, and classroom activities and reflect on and discuss how to apply the content and resources to their classrooms. This workshop is best for teachers of introductory and advanced high school biology courses.
