SWAEC- Fun with Math Instructional Routines

Math instructional routines are powerful teaching strategies that can be used to support student learning and promote mathematical thinking. Incorporating instructional routines in the classroom promotes interaction and invites all students to engage in the mathematics of the lesson. This professional development session can help educators learn how to effectively implement these strategies in their classrooms and provide opportunities for students to bring their personal experiences as well as their mathematical knowledge to problems and discussions.
