Do you know who is within your sphere of influence? The DESE Engagement Unit is inviting you to an interactive session for educators to understand the importance of building family, school, and community partnerships to support positive student success.
Participants will be encouraged to analyze their Family and Community Engagement programs. We will be exploring how to most effectively build staff, parent, and community capacities:
- Create and sustain school and district cultures that welcome, invite and promote family engagement and development
- Know what parents want and need to improve student learning
- Cultivate connections within the community for resources and support.
