NEA – From Wall Street to Main Street: Teaching Real-World Economics & Personal Finance (9-12)

Are you ready to bring real-world economics and personal finance to life in your classroom? This engaging workshop is designed for 9th-12th grade educators who want to equip students with the knowledge and skills to navigate today’s financial landscape.

Through practical examples, hands-on activities, and real-world applications, you’ll explore key economic principles, personal finance strategies, and market dynamics—from Wall Street’s investment world to the everyday financial decisions and economics that impact Main Street. Learn how to make economic and personal finance concepts relatable, integrate current events into lessons, and empower students to make informed choices for their futures.

Join Economics Arkansas to gain fresh teaching strategies, classroom-ready resources, and the confidence to inspire the next generation of financially savvy citizens!  Plus, verified 9th-12th grade educators under contract with an AR school will take home a book of their choice featured in the workshop, ready to use activities and a $50 eCheck stipend.
