ARKDB - VCSL/CHIP

The Visual Communication and Sign Language (VCSL) checklist and the Child Cochlear Implant Profile (CHIP) Rating scale are used to measure the progress of infants and toddlers on language development and potential candidacy for cochlear implants. Both of these tools are used on a national level and require experience in working with the birth to 3-year-old populations. Participants in this training will practice using these scales to make informal evaluations regarding the progress of the clients they serve. Participants in this session must have a current Developmental Therapy license.
