This meeting will provide an
in-depth overview of the upcoming Chess competitions coordinated through CAAS.
The session is designed to inform and equip educators who will be serving as
campus coordinators, coaches, or facilitators for these academic events. This is for teachers and campus staff involved in the planning and execution of ESC-Sponsored academic competitions.
Meeting Objectives:
Present the structure, rules,
and expectations for both Quiz Bowl and Chess competitions. Outline timelines,
registration procedures, and key deadlines.
Share best practices for
preparing students and organizing campus-level activities. Address logistical
considerations, including travel, supervision, and materials.
Provide a forum for questions, collaboration, and resource
sharing among participating campuses.
