NWAESC(2246)-NIET Elevating Coaching Conversations

This two-day training helps prepare teacher leaders, principals, and district leaders to engage in effective coaching conversations rooted in the science of reading. Participants learn to develop student-focused goals and coaching plans to structure intentional cycles of support for individual teachers within literacy instruction. Participants will analyze assessment data to understand student progress and make intentional instructional decisions to provide access to foundational skills for all learners.

This is a DESE-recognized coaching training that meets the coaching requirement for Experienced Mentor Teacher designation and some Lead/Master Teacher routes. Presenter fees are covered by the Novice Teacher Mentoring Grant. Particpants/districts are responsible for the hospitality fee.
