NWAEC(2095)-Maximizing Growth: Academic Language Access to Core (6-12)
Participants will learn how to ensure language is embedded in the core content planning and instruction, understanding how language is the medium through which content goals are achieved and assessed. The session will move instruction beyond surface-level strategies (like simple sentence stems) to focus on the progression of language learning (described in ELP standards) and the quality of language support.
