DSC Mindful Movement & SEL for Stress-Proof Classrooms: Tools for the Front Lines

"Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed waiting for external help? In the fast-paced classroom environment, teachers need immediate, on-demand tools to manage student stress and focus. This hands-on, energetic workshop bridges the theory of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with the power of the body, providing strategies that are easy to implement with any age—from kindergarten to high school, and even with adult teams.
You'll dive into the science of the nervous system and master proactive mindful movement and breathing techniques that will shift the energy in your classroom. This empowers you to build coping skills in students before crises occur, so you are never waiting for a counselor or administrator to calm a child. This PD is personal and professional renewal—you'll leave ready to create a more regulated, focused, and joyful environment for everyone."
