DSC Spark the Connection: Arts-Integrated Strategies for Engaged Learning
"Ignite your classroom with creative, arts-integrated strategies that bring history and language to life! In this hands-on Arkansas A+ workshop, participants will explore a sequence of adaptable activities that encourage students to think critically, express creatively, and connect ideas across disciplines. Each strategy that the Arkansas A+ Fellows introduce can stand alone or build upon the others, offering flexible approaches for learners of all ages and subjects. Come ready to create, collaborate, and leave with arts-based tools that spark imagination and enrich classroom practice. Perfect for 2nd–12th grade ELA, Social Studies, History, Visual Art, and Music teachers, as well as instructional facilitators looking to energize interdisciplinary learning that resonates across grade levels and content areas.
