OUR Annual August Back To School Nurse Workshop
This workshop will provide school nurses with resources and up to date education on issues facing school nurses. This will include information about the new updates regarding billing for nursing servies, ADH updates, and information about Exercise Induced Laryngeal Obstruction (EILO). There will also be updates from Cheria McDonald, APRN, MSN, RN, NCSN, State School Nurse Consultant. This activity has been submitted to the Midwest Multistate Division for approval to award contact hours. The Midwest Multistate Division is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Doors will open at 7:30am, workshop will begin at 8:30am. Attendance of at least one RN from each district is required by AR Code § 6-18-709 (2017).
