GFESC Verbal & Non-Verbal De-Escalation Strategies
Participants will learn practical verbal and non-verbal strategies for preventing and de-escalating challenging situations. Through discussion and scenarios, teachers will reflect on potential triggers, explore alternative responses, and collaborate with colleagues to find solutions. This workshop emphasizes building confidence in handling situations calmly while maintaining student dignity and safety.
