SCSC -ATLAS Science: Using Assessment to Drive Science Instruction



During this 6 hour professional development, participants will explore assessments as the drivers of student learning. Participants will also learn how to use ATLAS Achievement Level Descriptors (ALDs) to gauge the proficiency levels being measured by their assessments, and ensure alignment with performance expectations. Get ready to elevate your assessments, discover the power of data, and delve into examples of 3D assessment items.TESS components addressed include:1D, 1F, 4A

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $20 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
