SCSC - Amplify Science Curriculum Launch



Embark on a team building educational journey, immersing yourself in the Amplify Science curriculum tailored for grades K-8! Participants will gain an understanding of how the Amplify Science Instructional Model helps students make sense of phenomena by having an immersive experience with the introductory lessons of an Amplify unit. We will examine the facets and resources of the curriculum through the lens of the EdReports review to better understand why Amplify is an HQIM. Expect to leave the session with knowledge of the Amplify Instructional Model and an understanding of where to find and how to use all of the curricular materials. Get ready to elevate your classroom impact in an atmosphere filled with innovation and shared expertise. TESS components addressed include: 1D, 4A


Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $20 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
