SCSC - Enhancing Dyslexia Intervention: Fidelity Tools to Inform Instruction



This coaching resource supports instructional teams in strengthening dyslexia intervention through purposeful observations focused on effective, evidence-based dyslexia instructional practices and student engagement. Participants will use tools aligned to their approved dyslexia intervention program to examine instructional alignment, appropriate use of instructional time, and quality of delivery. This collaborative, team-based approach builds a shared understanding of effective dyslexia intervention and leverages observation data to guide coaching, strengthen instructional practices, and support continuous improvement aimed at improving student outcomes. *Participants will bring their program manual, lesson planning, and fidelity tools. TESS components addressed include: 1A, 1C, 2A, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E


Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $20 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
