NWAESC(2095)-OpenSciEd K-5 Curriculum Launch



OpenSciEd is a high-quality instructional material that provides free access to the learning materials used in the classroom. As of summer of 2026, all units are available for K-5. This curriculum launch, led by experienced OpenSciEd and veteran teacher Colleen Campos and the Co-op’s Science Specialist, will prepare K-5 teachers to teach their first OpenSciEd unit while introducing them to the OpenSciEd materials, approach, and pedagogy. The curriculum launch provides a solid foundation for OpenSciEd implementation, even if it's just one unit. Additionally, Colleen will share tips and resources to make the curriculum manageable for your classroom. Be sure to bring your laptop so you can explore OpenSciEd's digital platform with us!
