AFESC-3-10 Writing that Aligns with Atlas

This professional learning session supports educators in strengthening writing instruction across grades 3–10 by engaging participants in current ATLAS writing data, alignment to Arkansas standards, and a deepened understanding of the new six-point ATLAS writing rubric to be implemented beginning in the 2026–27 school year. Teachers will analyze student writing samples to support consistent scoring, instructional decision-making, and targeted feedback using the ATLAS rubric, and will leave with practical, standards-aligned strategies to support student growth in writing and improve classroom instruction.
