CRESC_MS Intro to Code: Game Development
Learn the basics of programming fun games using Scratch, MakeCode Arcade, and Pygame. Scratch is a block-based game development platform that makes it easy to build exciting 2D experiences. MakeCode Arcade will help transition from block to text, and Pygame will help students reach the level required by the standards. Participants will learn basic game development patterns like game loops, collision detection, and animation. We will also use AI to explore the basics of Python and Pygame.
This series is for 5th-8th-grade educators.
