SCSC - AI in the Classroom: A Beginner’s Guide



New to AI and wondering how it fits into teaching? This session introduces educators to easy, practical AI tools like MagicSchool, NotebookLM, and Gemini. Learn how these apps can help with lesson planning, organization, differentiation, and everyday classroom tasks—without being overwhelming or technical. Designed for beginners, this workshop focuses on simple, safe, and meaningful ways to start using AI in the classroom right away.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $20 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
