SWAEC- DCTE Pre-Educator Program Quality



This professional development session is designed for educators in the Pre-Educator Program Quality-Educator pathway and will focus on preparing to teach the pathway. Participants will review and provide feedback on standards updates, explore alignment with postsecondary credit options to ensure students have access to meaningful credit-bearing opportunities, and gain clarity on the pathway to teacher licensure in Arkansas. The session will emphasize how educators can better support students as they move from secondary coursework into postsecondary education and the teaching profession, with time built in to work on classroom resources.

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Non-members will be charged a workshop fee. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee of $25.00 if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.
