The following objectives will be covered:

Examine the goals for RISE
Understand the implications of the Simple View of Reading and The Four Part Processing Model of Word Recognition
Analyze the role of phonology in reading and its implication in writing
Understand how to intervene and remediate problems in phonemic awareness
