SCSC - Year 1 Teachers - Novice Boot Camp



Kick off your teaching journey with three days of learning, laughter, and real-world preparation designed just for Year 1 educators! This interactive training covers essential topics like TESS, Ethics for Educators, Child Maltreatment awareness, and practical classroom management strategies—plus plenty of tips you can use on Day One. On Day 2, mentors join the fun for collaboration, encouragement, and connection, so you leave feeling supported, confident, and ready to thrive in your first year. TESS components addressed include: 1C, 2A

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
