SWAEC- AR Aware: From Classroom to Career: De-Escalation and Coping Skills for Workplace Readiness

Career and Technical Education classrooms mirror the real-world workplace - fast-paced, high-expectation environments where emotions, stress, and conflict can surface quickly. This 6-hour interactive workshop equips CTE teachers with practical, trauma-informed strategies to both de-escalate challenging student situations and teach students essential distress tolerance skills they will need to succeed on the job.
