SCSC - Durable Skills

Durable Skills Integration
This session focuses on the development of Durable Skills—communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and adaptability that employers consistently prioritize. Participants will explore strategies for embedding these skills into JAG classroom routines, Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, project-based learning, and community service. The session includes practical activities, language for teaching soft-skill competencies, and tools for assessing student growth in these high-value employability skills. TESS components addressed include: 1D, 2E

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
