SCSC - Rite Flight



Rite Flight: A Classroom Reading Rate Program and Rite Flight: A Classroom Comprehension Program are curricula written by the staff of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia & Learning Disorders at Scottish Rite for Children. These programs equip teachers and reading specialists to help students increase their reading rate, fluency, and comprehension.
Rite Flight programs were designed to be Tier II interventions for use by classroom teachers, reading specialists and special education teachers with first through eighth grade students. They can be used as supplemental or intervention instruction for individuals, small groups or the whole classroom.
This training is available to certified teachers, paraprofessionals, CALTs, CALPs, and dyslexia specialists. Materials must be ordered directly from TSRH; please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Instructor manuals will be a print on demand file made available upon purchase. Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium, the fee has been waived. If you are not part of the SCSC PD Consortium, you may be charged a minimum of $40 per day for any training even if the fee listed is zero.  Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
