SE FUSE: Fundamental Understanding of Science Education



This two-day professional development session will benefit both new and veteran science teachers. We will delve into five impact areas of a successful science classroom: structures for learning, science aligned content, science teacher practices, student practices, and assessment and differentiation. Expect to leave the sessions with real-world analysis of student work, observation of three-dimensional science instruction, strategies for increasing student discourse and leveraging modeling to increase classroom engagement based on strategies found in science high-quality instructional materials. 

Participants need to bring a computer.



Important Session Information:


For Southeast Co-op PD Consortium member districts, the fee will be waived prior to billing. Non-consortium participants who register but fail to attend without canceling will be charged a $10 fee if catering is provided. Cancellations must be made online at least two days before the workshop, by calling 870-367-6848, or emailing christy.johnson@searkcoop.com. If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified via the email address associated with your escWorks account. Guests, including children, are not permitted.
