CRESC_Bridges: A Dyslexia Intervention

Bridges: A Dyslexia Intervention Connecting Teacher, Avatar, and Student is a two-year curriculum written by the staff of the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at Scottish Rite for Children. It follows the same scope and sequence as Take Flight.

The curriculum is designed to maintain high-quality, research-based, and highly effective dyslexia instruction while reducing teacher preparation time. The digital avatar, Ms. Hallie, delivers more complex aspects of the structured dyslexia intervention. The program provides scripted manuals that, when combined with the training, equip certified teachers with the tools needed to provide research-based dyslexia intervention for students aged 7 and older who have been identified with dyslexia.

This series of trainings is the first 5 of 10 days of PD and will be held at the Nettleton School District.
