NAESC-Science Acceleration: Teaching Honors Science for 5th, 6th, & 7th Grade
(6 hours) During this session, teachers will investigate the new honors science pathways, and learn how to navigate teaching honors coursework beginning in the 5th grade for students who are ready for more. We will dive into high-quality instructional materials, and discuss how to pace curriculum to ensure all students are engaged in grade-level and above content. Participants will leave with pacing guides, plans for future vertical alignment within their departments, and a better sense of what students are ready for based on ATLAS data.
