OUR 6-8 Math Collaboration Day

Join us for an engaging, hands-on professional learning session designed specifically for grades 6-8 math teachers. This
collaborative PD focuses on building a shared understanding of grade-level standards and Achievement Level Descriptors (ALDs), helping teachers clearly define what mastery looks like and how learning progresses across grades. Participants will unpack standards to identify priority skills, rigor, and alignment while exploring best practices that support conceptual understanding, mathematical discourse, fluency, and problem solving.
Collaboration is at the heart of this session as teachers work alongside colleagues to analyze instructional approaches, explore the ATLAS Classroom Tool, and co-create meaningful, standards-aligned lesson ideas. Through purposeful discussion and shared planning, participants will leave with ready-to-use instructional strategies, practical classroom resources, and strengthened professional connections to support ongoing collaboration throughout the school year.
Note: Participants should bring a laptop and school-adopted HQIM/curriculum for hands-on use.
