SE Meaningful Access for Students with Extensive Support Needs



This session will focus on using Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) as an instructional planning tool to increase rigor and support meaningful access and participation for students with extensive support needs. Participants will learn strategies for using the DLM Essential Elements to support students across a variety of settings and explore resources that promote high expectations, communication support, and meaningful access for all learners. The session will also highlight a range of Assistive Technology options that can enhance student access, engagement, and independence.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendees are asked to bring a device (tablet or laptop) and earbuds.



Important Session Information:


For Southeast Co-op PD Consortium member districts, the fee will be waived prior to billing. Non-consortium participants who register but fail to attend without canceling will be charged a $10 fee if catering is provided. Cancellations must be made online at least two days before the workshop, by calling 870-367-6848, or emailing christy.johnson@searkcoop.com. If the workshop is canceled, you will be notified via the email address associated with your escWorks account. Guests, including children, are not permitted.
